A PNG can be useful in some workflows, but its pixel dimensions and placement determine print quality and size. A PDF generally conveys page dimensions more directly.
Check the receiving workflow
Tell the printer the intended card size and verify whether it accepts the image output. Avoid sending a screenshot of the PNG preview. Do not enlarge a low-resolution image to compensate for small appearance.
Final check
Confirm a physical proof's dimensions and text sharpness before printing multiple cards.
