Cutting close to a decorative border makes slight variations visible. Keep essential text well inside the finished edge even if the frame is narrow.
Use a cut test as the reference
Cut one front-and-back proof using the supplied layout. Check the frame, name, and dates on all edges. A consistent modest border is better than trimming into content to disguise a misaligned back.
Final check
Do not begin cutting the batch until the proof's front and back both look acceptable.
