Automatic rotation can be harmless when it preserves the correct landscape sheet arrangement. It becomes a problem when panels shrink or the duplex back is inverted.
Check orientation and scale together
Select the paper size matching the file, then inspect all panels in the print preview. Do not judge rotation from the thumbnail alone. Print both sides of one sheet and fold it before changing a successful setting.
Final check
Keep the cover upright and the inside reading direction correct in the physical folded proof.
