Changes in stock, settings, or printer condition can alter later copies. An approved proof is useful only if the batch matches its production conditions.
Keep the setup consistent
Use the same paper and quality setting, and verify which file is selected. Pause after the first batch copy to compare portrait tone and dark areas. If color shifts materially, resolve it before printing the remainder.
Final check
Place the proof and batch copy side by side in the same light for a fair comparison.
