Folding or stacking sheets before the ink dries can smear the portrait or dark background. A dense design may need more handling care than a mostly white program.
Let the test sheet settle
Use compatible paper and allow the print to dry before folding. Avoid rubbing dark areas while making the crease. If the surface still smears after suitable drying, review paper compatibility and printer settings.
Final check
Run a finger lightly across a spare printed area before folding the batch, not across the approved portrait.
