Editing and download decisions
Writing First or Choosing the Template First
InMemoryStudio ·
A brief content outline should come before final layout decisions. You do not need a polished biography before browsing, but you should know what must fit.
A workable approach
Draft names and dates, a service outline, and a short remembrance. Then choose a design with enough space.
Make it fit your situation
Avoid repeatedly shrinking text to preserve a template that cannot comfortably hold the necessary information.
Writing and design can proceed together after the essential outline exists. Expect to edit for fit, but do not let a decorative layout decide which verified facts are omitted without family agreement.
Before you finish
Make the decision before editing the final design, then record it where the family can find it. A clear owner and a saved final version reduce last-minute confusion. Keep the working notes separate from the tribute guests will read.
