Editing and download decisions

Gathering Photos From Several Family Members

InMemoryStudio ·

Photo collection is easier when contributors know the desired subject and file type. Ask for originals rather than screenshots of social posts.

A workable approach

Please send the original photo file, the approximate date if known, and who is pictured. Let us know whether it may be shared publicly.

Make it fit your situation

Keep an organizer's record of permissions and remove unapproved images from the publishing folder.

A shared request can specify portrait orientation if the chosen templates need it. Keep contributors' original files so another crop remains possible; do not overwrite the only copy with an edit.

Before you finish

Make the decision before editing the final design, then record it where the family can find it. A clear owner and a saved final version reduce last-minute confusion. Keep the working notes separate from the tribute guests will read.
