Editing and download decisions

Poster Size by Display Distance

InMemoryStudio ·

Display distance changes what guests can read. A close memory table can use more detail than an entrance viewed from several feet away.

A workable approach

Test the name and main line at the planned viewing distance. Simplify the poster if only the photograph remains clear.

Make it fit your situation

Choose among supported 12 by 18, 18 by 24, and 24 by 36 sizes after confirming the actual display space.

A large poster can still contain text that is too small if the whole design was enlarged without rebalancing it. Review the name and main line from the actual intended distance.

Before you finish

Make the decision before editing the final design, then record it where the family can find it. A clear owner and a saved final version reduce last-minute confusion. Keep the working notes separate from the tribute guests will read.
