A correct calendar date can be paired with an incorrect weekday during editing. Checking only the numbers may miss the contradiction.
Verify the event independently
Compare the written weekday with the calendar for the confirmed service date. If the event has moved, update the date, weekday, and any reception references together. A weekday is optional when removing it makes the details clearer.
Final check
Read the entire service information block aloud after the final date change.
