Use a collage-style booklet when several photographs are central to the tribute. Three carefully chosen images usually communicate more clearly than many tiny pictures competing with the story.
Assign each photo a purpose
Choose one recognizable portrait, one relationship photograph, and one image showing a meaningful activity. Preview their existing photo areas before writing captions. Prefer images that remain understandable when printed small.
Final check
Check every face at the actual booklet size, especially people near the edges of group photographs.
