Funeral Booklet Service Date Versus Life Dates Placement
InMemoryStudio ·
Life dates identify the person; the service date identifies the gathering. Separating them prevents a hurried reader from mistaking the event date for the date of death.
Use different locations or labels
Keep the life dates near the name. Place the ceremony date with venue and time, labeled Memorial Service or another accurate event heading. A clear label is especially useful for a delayed memorial.
Final check
Read only the date lines without their surrounding paragraphs and check that each purpose is still obvious.
