Funeral Program Missing Birth Date Wording

InMemoryStudio ·

A missing date does not prevent a respectful program. Omit an unverified birth date and use the person's name, portrait, and a remembrance line.

Example wording

Remembering [Full Name]. Loved throughout a life of [Quality], and held close in memory.

Make it fit your situation

Do not estimate a birthday or age merely to fill the layout; rebalance the space instead.

A name and remembrance sentence can be centered where dates would normally appear. This creates a complete composition rather than drawing attention to information the family does not have or does not wish to share.

Before you finish

A printed program has limited space. Give this message its own short block so it can be read without interrupting the order of service. Read the final version aloud before fitting it into the design.
