If a printed program contains a material error, a small correction insert can communicate the change without reprinting every page. Focus on the correct information.
Example wording
Program correction: The reception begins at [Correct Time] at [Correct Venue]. Thank you for your understanding.
Make it fit your situation
For a wrong name or date, replace the affected page if possible; a tiny note may not repair the central remembrance.
Give the corrected fact its own line and distribute the insert with the program. For copies already shared online, replace the public file and clearly tell recipients which earlier detail has changed.
Before you finish
A printed program has limited space. Give this message its own short block so it can be read without interrupting the order of service. Read the final version aloud before fitting it into the design.
