Funeral Program Bilingual Welcome

InMemoryStudio ·

A bilingual welcome is easiest to follow when the same idea appears in two clearly separated blocks. Use a human-reviewed translation for names and service instructions.

Example wording

English: Thank you for gathering to remember [Name]. Spanish: Gracias por reunirse para recordar a [Name].

Make it fit your situation

Give both languages comparable emphasis, and verify the Spanish with a fluent speaker before publication.

Separate paragraphs are usually easier to read than alternating languages sentence by sentence. Review layout after translation because equivalent meaning rarely requires exactly the same number of words or lines.

Before you finish

A printed program has limited space. Give this message its own short block so it can be read without interrupting the order of service. Read the final version aloud before fitting it into the design.
