Deciding Which Personal Details to Publish
InMemoryStudio ·
Public stationery may be photographed, forwarded, or indexed if posted online. Choose deliberately which details belong in a widely shared version.
A workable approach
Publish the approved name and remembrance. Keep private addresses, access codes, personal phone numbers, and sensitive family details out when unnecessary.
Make it fit your situation
A printed invitation and a public website article may need different versions of the same information.
Birth dates, home addresses, children's names, and private access information may be unnecessary for a public version. Publication should be a conscious family choice rather than an automatic result of filling every field.
Before you finish
Make the decision before editing the final design, then record it where the family can find it. A clear owner and a saved final version reduce last-minute confusion. Keep the working notes separate from the tribute guests will read.
