Where to Put a Long Biography in a Four-Page Program

A long biography belongs inside the booklet, not across the portrait on the cover. Four pages are a limited format, so editing the story is usually better than shrinking every paragraph.
Choose one main story page
Give the biography the larger available text area. Keep the order of service concise on the other inside page. Cut repeated achievements and transitions first, while preserving the relationships and memories the family considers essential.
Final check
Read the biography on a folded test copy. If the reader needs to lean closer, shorten it again.
