A screenshot often contains fewer pixels than the original photograph and may include interface elements. Enlarging it can make faces soft even when the screenshot looks clear on a phone.
Find the original before editing
Ask the person who has the photo to send the original file rather than a captured screen. Compare dimensions and detail before replacing the image. Do not assume a larger file size means more real detail.
Final check
Inspect the face near expected print scale and ask the provider about acceptable quality if only a screenshot survives.
