Memorial Poster File Size Versus Photo Quality
InMemoryStudio ·
A large download does not prove that the inserted portrait is sharp. The file can be large because of output dimensions or background artwork while the original face remains low resolution.
Inspect real image detail
Check the source photograph's pixel dimensions and examine the face, not only the file's megabytes. Re-exporting at a larger size cannot recover detail missing from the original.
Final check
Have the intended printer assess the portrait if the source is small and the required poster is large.
Apply this to your design
Use an available portrait or collage poster layout and inspect the preview of each selected size before downloading.
