Gloss can reflect light across small text and portraits. The effect depends on paper, ink, and the lighting where the card is held.
Compare a physical sample
Read the message under ordinary room lighting and tilt the card gently. If glare hides essential words, consider compatible matte stock or a different print finish.
Final check
Do not decide from the screen preview because it cannot show the paper's reflective surface.
