Make it fit your situation
Use a consistent date style across the booklet, card, and poster rather than mixing full dates and unlabeled numbers.
For a year-only cover, do not add age unless the date information supports it. A year range can span either of two possible ages depending on the birthday and date of passing.
Before you finish
A printed program has limited space. Give this message its own short block so it can be read without interrupting the order of service. Read the final version aloud before fitting it into the design.
