Funeral Program Officiant and Speaker Credits

InMemoryStudio ·

Credits help guests recognize the people leading the ceremony. Present roles consistently so a reader can distinguish the officiant, readers, musicians, and speakers.

Example wording

Service led by [Name]. Reading offered by [Name]. Remembrance shared by [Name]. Music performed by [Name].

Make it fit your situation

Use titles only when requested or appropriate; ask each participant how their name should appear.

Keep credits visually separate from the ceremony sequence. The reader's name can appear beside the reading, while a general acknowledgments block can identify additional helpers without interrupting the order.

Before you finish

A printed program has limited space. Give this message its own short block so it can be read without interrupting the order of service. Read the final version aloud before fitting it into the design.
