Funeral Program Closing Sentence Examples

InMemoryStudio ·

A closing sentence works best when it brings the reader back to the person, rather than adding another announcement. Practical instructions should appear before it.

Example wording

We carry your kindness into the days ahead, remembering you in the small things you taught us to notice.

Make it fit your situation

Place this after the final acknowledgment, with enough white space to signal the end.

A plainer closing is: Thank you for remembering [Name] with us. Use it when a lyrical closing feels unlike the person or the family. Sincerity matters more than poetic language.

Before you finish

A printed program has limited space. Give this message its own short block so it can be read without interrupting the order of service. Read the final version aloud before fitting it into the design.
