Obituary Family List Without Relationship Labels

InMemoryStudio ·

Names can be listed without assigning every person a relationship label. This is useful when labels are complicated or the family prefers a simple acknowledgment.

Example passage

[Name] is remembered with love by [Names], extended family, and many friends.

Make it fit your situation

Confirm who should be named; a broad closing phrase should not silently erase someone important.

If a list becomes difficult to manage, separate named close relatives from a broader phrase such as extended family and friends. Review omissions deliberately rather than deleting names to fit a text box.

Before you finish

An obituary can be accurate and affectionate without listing every event in a life. Confirm names and practical details with an appropriate family contact. Keep private information out unless the people involved have agreed to its publication.
