Memorial Poster With an Oval Portrait and a Long Caption
InMemoryStudio ·
An oval portrait can be visually distinct, but a long caption beneath it may compete with the name. Captions need a clear purpose.
Use a short identifying line
Keep a caption to an approved occasion or relationship if it adds meaning. Put the central tribute elsewhere in the design. Avoid repeating the same name in several equally prominent places.
Final check
Check that the caption remains legible without reducing the portrait to make room.
