Memorial Poster Names With Suffixes
InMemoryStudio ·
A suffix can be important for identity, especially when relatives share a name. Keep it attached to the name rather than placing it in decorative text.
Example text
[Full Name], [Suffix]
A life remembered with gratitude.
Make it fit your situation
Verify whether Jr., Sr., or a numeral is part of the family's preferred printed name.
Avoid putting a suffix on a separate decorative line where it looks like an award. It belongs with the preferred name and should remain clear at the final viewing distance.
Before you finish
A memorial poster needs to communicate at a glance. Keep the main message larger than supporting details, and check it from the distance guests will stand. Use a separate sign if practical instructions overwhelm the tribute.
