A years-only date line can reduce clutter and avoid displaying full dates. It should be a conscious family choice rather than an accidental omission.
Edit both date fields together
Use [Birth Year] — [Death Year] if both years are approved. Remove any remaining month or day labels from the template. Check whether the back repeats a more detailed date.
Final check
Confirm that the final card does not mix an intentionally simplified front with unintended full dates elsewhere.
