A narrow border can reveal small cutting variations. Even careful trimming may make one side appear heavier than the other.
Keep the border visually forgiving
Choose an arrangement with enough space between essential content and the cut. Do not move names toward the edge to preserve a tight frame. A slightly roomier layout is often more practical for home cutting.
Final check
Inspect front and back borders on a cut test card, not on the untrimmed sheet.
