Fresh ink and incompatible paper can mark the next sheet, especially with dark backgrounds. A stack may hide the problem until cutting.
Allow suitable drying time
Test the selected stock, keep freshly printed sheets from rubbing together, and inspect the first few backs. If ink remains tacky, review the paper and printer compatibility instead of simply printing faster.
Final check
Look at the face beneath a dark printed back before approving stacking for the batch.
