Funeral Program Photo Captions Below Rather Than Over Images

InMemoryStudio ·

Captions below photographs remain easier to read when the image is busy. They also avoid covering faces or details that explain why the family chose the photograph.

Write a caption that adds information

Name the occasion or relationship rather than repeating the person's name under every image. For example, Sundays in the garden with [Family Member]. Keep the caption to one short line whenever possible.

Final check

If a caption wraps into several lines, remove details rather than squeezing the photograph above it.
