A general acknowledgment can include people who came and those who offered support from elsewhere. It need not distinguish them by how much help they provided.
Thank people without ranking their support
For example, We are grateful for your presence, your messages, and the care you have shown our family. Add a specific thank-you only when the family wants to identify a role or contribution publicly.
Final check
Avoid language suggesting that attendance is the only meaningful way someone supported the family.
